ORDERING & PAYMENT

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE STANDARD, PREMIUM AND DELUXE CHIARI CHAIRS?

The Stand Chiavari Chairs are finished in Asia with a lower grade wood and fabric. Due to the chairs being sprayed in Asia, there would be more ‘filler’ used on these chairs, that we are unable to see on arrival at Rosetone. These chairs are only available in Limewash with a Chanel Ivory Fabric as standard, although you can upgrade the fabric if you wish at a small cost.

The Premium Chiavari Chairs imported from Asia and are finished in the UK here at our Bedfordshire factory, these are made from a GRADE A wood and are checked on arrival for any ‘filler’, this gives us the opportunity to reject any inferior chairs. The chairs are sprayed to order in a variety of finishes and include a Pimlico Premium Fabric Seat Pad. These are our most sold product, particularly popular with Hotels, Venues and Restaurants in the UK and Europe.

The Deluxe Chiavari Chairs are imported from the EU and are finished in the UK here at our Bedfordshire factory, these are made from a superior grade Beech wood, and are sprayed to order in a variety of finishes and include a Pimlico Premium Fabric Seat Pad. These chairs are most popular with furniture hire companies in the UK and Europe.

Can you source other furniture for me?

We’re sure you’ll find something you love on our website; however, occasionally, customers do get in touch with an image they’ve seen but are unable to find the product to match. Feel free to send us an image and we’ll do our best to find a match.

Do you have a minimum order quantity?

No, you can order one item or 5,000 items.

Do you price match?

As with our hire furniture, we work hard to maintain the highest quality service and competitive prices. However, if you do obtain a cheaper quote elsewhere, please email us the quotation you have received, in full. If it is a ‘like for like’ quote, we will, of course, offer a price match.

Do you manufacture your furniture in the UK?

All our furniture is imported in the finest raw beech wood from the EU. This allows us to quality control all furniture thoroughly before it is hand finished in our own spraying and upholstery departments in our Bedfordshire factory.

With a combination of hand spraying and robotic sprayers, we only ever use the finest materials and fabrics from the UK and Europe, ensuring that quality is never in question.

Which of your chairs is the most popular venue chair?

The Premium Chiavari stacking chairs have always been extremely popular and remain so to this day. However, the Crossback chairs are growing in popularity with our wedding customers and are certainly giving the Chiavari a run for their money.

FABRICS

What fabric options do you have available?

Please note that our chairs are designed in a mixture of fully upholstered, or semi-upholstered on the seat, back and sides.

Each one is available in a choice of standard fabric colours. These are included in the cost of the chair which you’ll see displayed on the website.

If you would like to request a different fabric to match your colour scheme, we’re happy to accommodate this. Our bespoke range includes hundreds of different fabrics and colourways – or you can supply your own fabric. Prices for our bespoke range vary, so please contact us for a quote.

What aftersales care do you offer on fabrics?

All our furniture is supplied with a manufacturer’s warranty of 12 months. We also offer a repair, reupholstery, and respray service to keep your furniture looking as good as new.

We don’t recommend that you treat the fabric yourself with a stain guard type product. Fabrics all respond differently to the chemicals in these products and any damage caused would be at your own risk. Unfortunately, we cannot accept responsibility for fabrics which are treated in this way. If you do decide to treat your furniture with a stain guard, the fabric will no longer be covered by our warranty.

How durable is your fabric?

Our fabrics are all graded according to the universal rub test. The rub test – a special machine is used to repeatedly rub the fabric – simulates wear and tear caused by everyday use. Each fabric is assigned a ‘rub factor’.

A ‘double rub’ equates to one back and forth motion; currently, 3,000 double rubs is roughly equal to a year of regular use. You’ll see from our grades below that all our fabric has a life expectancy of many years’ use – from a minimum of 10 years upwards.

  • General contract upholstery – 30,000 to 50,000 double rubs
  • Heavy duty upholstery – 55,000 to 75,000 double rubs
  • Extreme wear upholstery – 80,000 to 100,000 double rubs
Are your fabrics flame retardant?

Yes. With strict regulations in the UK governing the safety of fabrics used to upholster contract furniture, we are very careful to comply in all areas, as laid out in the Furniture and Furnishings (Fire) (Safety) Regulations 1988.

This includes BS5852 Part 1 Source 0 (Cigarette) Ignition Source 1 (Match). All our fabrics can be treated to Source 5 (Crib 5) to meet hotel and leisure UK regulations.

If you require a copy of our flame retardancy certificates for your records, these can be supplied upon request.
